CAPALBIO

It lies at about 45 km from the chief city Grosseto, it’s the southest town of continental Tuscany. Thanks to its environment and its historical and artistic importance assumed in the Renaissance, Capalbio has been nicknamed Little Athens. Besides, the municipality was awarded with the 5 Seals and first place in the Blue Guide of Legambiente-Touring Club Italiano 2007 for the protection and careful management of its beaches, landscape and environment.
