The Natural Maremma Regional Park  was established in 1975 and notwithstanding its modest size (about 10,000 ha) and young age it has become a favourite destination of a higher number of people in a short time. In 1993 it was awarded the European Park released by the Council of Europe. The Park can be visited on foot, by bicycle, horseriding, canoeing or by chariot. Any information regarding time table and visits can be obtained at the Visitor Park Centre, where tickets for the itineraries are sold or at the local Proloco info-point. The Park is few km from the most beautiful beaches of the Maremma coast and just km 2.5 from Alberese, where you can find all facilities. In the nearby trattorie and popular festivals you can taste the typical dishes of Maremma cuisine. From our farmhouse you can easily reach the most beautiful areas of Maremma coast, such as Talamone, Castiglione della Pescaia or Punta Ala, the pristine Cala Violina beach or yo can get to Argentario by crossing the distinctive lagoon surrounding the distintive town of Orbetello.
